About the Student Admission and Career Center
In November 2003 the Center of Student Admission and Career was established in College. The aim of the Career Centre is to moderate and to project students activities and their future career. The main tasks of the Center are: to support students with information and consultation, to help students find a job and to prepare for the future careers. The Student Admission and Career Center also intermediates in the organization of students professional practice organization and keeps terms with College graduates.
Student Admission and Career Center Activities:
- Providing students with information about employment possibilities, influencing their future career.
- Analyzing and researching the tendencies of labour market in the country. Collaborating with Lithuanian Labour Exchange and collecting the information about the situation in contemporary labour market.
- Making poles and researches on students` preparation for the labour market. Analyzing the College graduates` career cases and situations.
- Organizing workshops, seminars, courses, etc. about career development for College students.
- Intermediating between a student and an institution during the professional practice period.
- Keeping terms and communicating with College graduates.
