A student’s from Kosovo Erasmus+ experience in Lithuania
Student from AAB College in Kosovo Ledion Zuka spent his Autumn semester at Šiaulių valstybinė kolegija / Higher Education Institution under Erasmus+ echange programme.
Here is what Ledion says about his experience in Šiauliai:
“During my experience in Šiauliai, Lithuania, I had a fabulous time. I met new people from different countries and cultures, and we experienced many things together. Our time studying was great, as we could help each other with assignments and support one another whenever needed.
We spent most of our time together doing fun activities such as having dinners, playing different sports, board games, and—most importantly—travelling around Lithuania and neighbouring countries like Latvia. I am truly thankful for the amazing staff, who were always kind, welcoming, and supportive, and who played a big role in making my Erasmus+ experience unforgettable.
Meeting local people was also a wonderful part of this experience. They introduced us to the city, helped us learn the language, and taught us many new things about life in Lithuania.
The friendships we created are unforgettable, and we are already planning to meet again in the future to relive the memories from our Erasmus+ experience. I would encourage all students to participate in the programme, as it offers incredible opportunities such as learning about new cultures, experiencing independence, and studying abroad.”
Ledion was studying in International Business study programme at Šiaulių valstybinė kolegija / Higher Education Institution in the Autumn semester of 2025–2026 academic year.
