Activity results and future directions discussed at Šiaulių valstybinė kolegija / Higher Education Institution

On March 27, a general meeting of employees took place at Šiauliai valstybinė kolegija / Higher Education Institution, during which the most important results of the Institution activities and planned future directions were presented.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Šiaulių valstybinė kolegija / Higher Education Institution’s Council Chairman Raimundas Vaišvilas presented the 2025 Activity Report of the Council. He highlighted three key goals of the Institution: consistent focus on quality, especially in the field of studies, efficient use of available resources, and the ability to quickly respond to a changing environment. According to him, these factors determine the sustainability, growth, and competitiveness of the organization.
 
The Institution's 2025 activity report was presented by Director Dr. Lina Tamutienė. The report was prepared based on four strategic pillars that define the direction of the Šiaulių valstybinė kolegija / Higher Education Institution activities: student orientation, applied dimension, internationality of activities and social responsibility. During the presentation, it was emphasized that in many areas the indicators of the planned strategic goals were not only achieved, but also exceeded, and the activities planned in the plan were successfully implemented. 

Deputy Director Dr. Nedas Jurgaitis spoke about the directions and priorities of the Institution's scientific activities in 2026–2028, presenting a vision for the further development of scientific activities.

The meeting became an important space to review the work done, evaluate the results achieved, and focus on common goals for the future.
