Erasmus+ students got to know the most visited places in Šiauliai

The International Relations Office of Šiauliai State University of Applied Sciences offered a game – “Selfies in Šiauliai'' for Erasmus+ students who came to study for the Autumn semester.

Students played this game throughout the whole autumn semester. The goal was to take 20 photos in different places in Šiauliai city. Students had to take a selfie with their favourite teacher as well. For all 20 pictures, students got a prize – cup, with Šiauliai State University of Applied Sciences and Erasmus+ logos. For a bonus selfie in the Hill of Crosses, students were able to get additional prizes.

Students had to take selfies in these locations: Central Park, with Griffon's sculptures at The Zubovai Palace, sculptures The Chameleon and The Bell of Love, the clock of the city The Rooster, the Cents’ room, sculpture Golden Boy, Iron Fox, the Cat Museum, Salduvė mound, Chaimas Frenkelis Villa, the monument to Chaimas Frenkelis, St. Apostles Peter and Paul's Cathedral, locomotive in the Railway museum, Šiauliai arena, Žaliūkiai millhouse, and with any graffiti that students could find in the city. Students also had to take a photo while trying any Lithuanian dish and engaging in fun activities.

At the end of the autumn semester, six students were awarded earlier mentioned prizes.

The Erasmus+ students were happy to get to know Šiauliai playfully, and the students were even more pleased with the prizes, along with the impressions they experienced during the game!
