Šiaulių valstybinė kolegija / Higher Education Institution Joins NEOLAiA at EAIE 2025 in Gothenburg, Sweden
On September 9-12 Šiauliai valstybinė kolegija / Higher Education Institution (ŠVK) once again took part in the EAIE 2025 Conference and Exhibition in Gothenburg as part of the NEOLAiA European University Alliance delegation.
This marked ŠVK’s second appearance at the event alongside its NEOLAiA partners, highlighting the institution’s growing role within the alliance.
Led by Gina Zdanavičienė, NEOLAiA Project Communication Manager, ŠVK helped build a strong communication presence at the conference. The team showcased NEOLAiA’s key initiatives, research projects, and educational opportunities, while also emphasizing the alliance’s deep regional roots and the positive impact it brings across partner territories. Their efforts caught the attention of participants from around the world, reinforcing NEOLAiA’s visibility and influence in the European higher education landscape.
Beyond her role at the NEOLAiA stand, Gina Zdanavičienė participated in the Baltic Way meeting, organised by Study in Lithuania, Study in Latvia, and Study in Estonia. The gathering brought together ambassadors, consular representatives, and higher education professionals from across the Baltics, welcoming participants, partners, and friends from other countries. It was a vivid demonstration of Baltic unity and the region’s growing presence on the international education stage.
ŠVK’s presence at EAIE 2025 not only strengthened the visibility of the institution and the alliance but also highlighted the importance of regional voices in shaping Europe’s academic future. By sharing experiences, building networks, and celebrating shared achievements, ŠVK reaffirmed its commitment to international collaboration and to NEOLAiA’s vision as a vibrant European University alliance.
At this year’s EAIE conference, the unity of all European University Alliances was highlighted through the FOREU4ALL network (“Alliances of European Universities for All”). FOREU4ALL brings together all alliances, promoting collaboration and the exchange of ideas, while supporting the development of long-term strategies for European higher education.
During the conference, alliance representatives met in joint sessions, shared experiences, and strengthened mutual solidarity. Šiaulių valstybinė kolegija / Higher Education Institution’s participation alongside NEOLAiA highlighted not only the strength of a single alliance but also the unity of the entire European University Alliances community. This reflects a shared commitment to creating a more open, inclusive, and competitive European higher education landscape.
