STRENGTHENING COOPERATION: ŽELJKO STEVIĆ VISITS ŠIAULIŲ VALSTYBINĖ KOLEGIJA
From 26 to 30 October, 2026, Associate professor Željko Stević from University of East Sarajevo in Bosnia and Herzegovina visited Šiaulių valstybinė kolegija / Higher Education Institution as part of the Erasmus+ teaching mobility programme.
We are pleased to share the professor's experience of his visit:
“This is my fifth visit to Lithuania. While I was already familiar with the capital city, Vilnius, as well as Trakai, this was my first time exploring Šiauliai. Thanks to this Erasmus+ teaching mobility programme, I had the wonderful opportunity to deepen my knowledge of the Lithuanian people and experience Šiauliai, one of the country's five largest cities.
The host institution and all the staff involved in my mobility were incredibly kind and made me feel completely at home. Everything went smoothly, and all scheduled activities were completed without any issues. The local teachers also organized meetings and a city tour, going above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable. I truly spent an amazing week in Šiauliai and look forward to returning. Most importantly, I have gained not only colleagues here but also true friends. I am confident that our future collaboration will be even more productive as we continue to advance our research and teaching excellence together.”
During the five-day visit, Željko Stević delivered lectures to our students from Technical Exploitation of Automobiles, Transport Logistics Technologies, Production and Logistics Management, Information Systems Technology and Software Engineering study programmes.
The lectures focused on the following topics: “Development of a location model for parcel lockers as part of sustainable city logistics” and “Integrated Fuzzy MCDM Models for Decision Making in Logistics”.
