Lecturers from the Department of Business and Accounting at Šiaulių valstybinė kolegija / Higher Education Institution, Dr. Renata Šivickienė and Kristina Gideikienė, participated in a delegates’ meeting of the Project Management work package organized by the University of Jaén, a partner institution within the NEOLAiA alliance.

One of the key priorities of this network is to strengthen internationalisation, promote academic mobility, and encourage active involvement of lecturers and students in joint alliance initiatives.
During their visit to the Spanish university, the lecturers met with the NEOLAiA project management leadership team, discussed methods for collecting project impact data, and actively contributed to the preparation of the interim project report. These activities provided practical knowledge on the administration of international projects, financial management, and coordination of project activities.
The visit was implemented under the Erasmus+ Staff Mobility for Training programme. During the visit, project and budget management competencies relevant to the implementation of international initiatives were strengthened, international experience was exchanged with project management team leaders, and practical knowledge related to the implementation of large-scale projects was further developed. New opportunities for cooperation were also discussed, paving the way for future joint projects between Šiaulių valstybinė kolegija / Higher Education Institution and NEOLAiA universities.
This visit reinforced the internationalisation strategy of Šiaulių valstybinė kolegija / Higher Education Institution and contributed to the NEOLAiA alliance’s goal of building an active, collaborative community of young European universities.
